Johor Bahru old Chinese temple is a magnificent architecture in Malaysia which is considered the best place for worship and reflects a symbol of unity among 5 Chinese groups. The major attraction of the temple are the huge bronze bell, 3 beautifully designed prayer halls and a small museum in the temple premises. A turtle is at the bottom of flagpole and the temple has also survived the time of Second World War. The Museum displays the picture of Gods, temple and many antiques. Chingay is the annual event hosts here which involves statues of deities and found the Parade around the town. Major attractions are stick pot, wooden tablet, glass showcase and bronze bell. Bells are hanging over the external walls which is considered a fascinating insight that works as a contribution of the devotees who pray to have peace and prosperity. It gives you a glimpse of the statues of Gods and various temple techniques at the magnificent architecture. Amazing glass showcase is on the wall of the temple which is designed with ancient blades from the swords, used during bloody clashes. A well maintained unique structure that has some historical values with main hall and both side doors which are access to the small area as the Chingay is organized by the temple that attracts many of tourists every year. The old temple stands with in commercial building that is considered opposite to the shop-houses which sells things for pray. The temple is a great place to visit where you find different groups namely Hainaese, Hakka, Teochew, Cantonese and Hokkien. An important Chinese and most beautiful temple which is painted with bright red.
