KLCC Park

KLCC is a public park, designed with the purpose to provide greenery to the world’s largest Petronas Twin Towers and the areas surrounding it. Besides the various waterfalls, fountains and reflecting pools scattered around the park. It offers enjoyment at children’s playground, jogging track, shelters, benches, patterned footpaths and sculptures. A unique theme Park is a tropical landscape, located at the heart of the park with vibrant colour and pattern of country’s rich heritage which is formed especially for work of art. Every evening, musical fountains presents amazing views at the man-made Lake. It showcases the heritage by integrating man’s creation that consists a calm environment in itself in the hustle and bustle of the city. It features man-made designs, water and natural features such as trees, shrubs, wood, stones and space that provide form and colour to the park. Many indigenous trees and palm species were planted for bio-diversity and providing shelter to local and migratory birds. Major attraction of the park is the dancing fountains with more than 150 colourful lights. A magical fountain dances to the tune of the music and is set close to the shopping centre. An elevated bridge is set across the lake which is located in front of the Suria Mall and the Twin Towers.

The lake at the park has striking features which comprises water fountains that shoot up to the height of 42 m. The park consists more than 74 species of trees which is a home for the diverse species of flora and fauna. Apart from these, there are various waterfalls, reflecting pools, fountains and cascade scattered around the park with light hearted and gregarious atmosphere. Major creations of the park are conservation and bio diversity which is an influence of the park. The park is considered as an amazing enjoyment centre for the younger as well as the kids as magnificent musical fountains & children playground catch the sight of the visitors. The fountains show starts at the noon or in the evening which lasts for 1 hour and never fails to attract its visitors. Every year many local and exotic visitors travel in the hustle and bustle around the city centre which is also considered as a major picnic spot for them all.
